HaMaoz – Wine for your soul (and your liver)

Last time I visited HaMaoz on Wednesday, it all ended up with the purchase of a flight ticket for the next day. A DJ I like (Massimiliano Pagliara) was planned to play for a weekend party at the Robert Johnson. The Robert Johnson is located next to Frankfurt, hence the need for aerial transportation from Tel Aviv.

This spontaneous act can teach us a lesson about the consequences of sharing your ideas with friends, but also about the good vibes in this bar.

On Wednesday nights you can drink as much wine as you want (or can, depends on the reasons behind your drinking) for 59 Shekels. With that I would usually order a burger with a sunny side up, fries and no bun for about the same amount of money, and apparently sometimes a 500$ ticket, which you don’t need to buy, because you’re already on vacation. Probably.

Beside the endless wine on Wednesday, they have a similar concept with all sort on drinks on Thursday (similar to what happens every night at the Biggy Z) and a great happy hour.

So as an appetizer for an evening out or as the main course, the Maoz can be a nice solution.
