Hostel 51 is a new place located on the previous location of “Joz and Loz” restaurant (great place. I haven’t written about it, ey, shame on me). The place is a combination of a restaurant and a bar, where during the night it supposed to become more of the latter. I like to sit in the spacious inner garden, but the bar inside has its virtues as well.
The menu offers a variety of choices, most of them from the Spanish and the Italian kitchens. I order the Beef tartar 99% of the time, so I’m not a big expert on the other dishes, but the people who come with me finish their plates and look happy, so I guess there are other options to satisfy your hunger (I’m just really in love with their beef tartar).
Beside the beef tartar, I like their wine menu, which offers you a small variety of wines priced really nicely, so I can order the second bottle without considering it too much, which might be the cause of my good memories from this place.
