The Milk & Honey is Israel’s first whiskey distillery. It is at a great location, with great whiskey, wonderful gin (made from the whiskey’s leftovers) and offers an amazing tour. It’s located in the south of Tel Aviv, with easy access using public transportation and easy access to the bars in Jaffo’s flea market to keep drinking 🙂
Whiskey is not the #1 thing you think of when you get to Israel, but this place can really make some good whiskey! You can stop by for some tasting or join a whole tour. The guides there are super professional and nice and it is very interesting to get a look into the keg room.
They also have cocktail recommendations and some recipe books for sale. The tours are in Hebrew or English and are available almost daily, but check their calendar. You don’t have to take a tour while there. I personally like going in there to have a quick look or just a drink 🙂 They sometimes have parties there, so it’s also worthwhile to look into that while in town.
