Once I noticed a new eatery in my neighborhood. It drew my attention at first sight – it is too small to be a “spend hours in” cafe but big enough to have an open kitchen, large windows from floor to ceiling, all wooden interior and outdoor seating. I had no choice but explore what Mitz Marak (means juice and soup) has to offer.
As the name suggests they sell home cooked soups, every day 5 different super yummy soups. When I was at Mitz Marak for the first time I wanted to try everything! Tomato soup is my favorite so far! If you are lucky enough to stop by when tomato soup is served – don’t think twice, go for it! Every order you get is accompanied with a huge slice of homemade bread.
Besides soups you can enjoy freshly squeezed juices, amazing shakes, hearty smoothies and stews – ratatouille is my favorite. I like the way all fruits, nuts and and other healthy goodies are laid out in the shop so you can choose what you want. And, last but not least, it’s a 100% vegan business.
P.S. If you feel like trying a dessert, make sure to grab paletas.
P.S.S. If you happened to visit Mitz Marak before 12:00, you have to try their breakfast!
