This restaurant is owned by one of the most interesting and acclaimed Israeli chefs, Eyal Shani, who has several restaurants throughout the city and his famous Pitta Place, the Miznon, has branches in Europe as well.
North Abraxas is one of the coolest, most delicious restaurants Tel Aviv has to offer. Come around 19:00 and register for a seat at the bar. After you’ve waited for a while and drank some wine outside, indulge on the beautiful fresh dishes. You MUST order their fish in tomato sauce, coal roasted beetroot, and butcher’s cut.
The menu changes a bit everyday and is written very creatively. The food is served in a simple yet unique way that only a chef like Eyal Shani could pull off.
The bar is always full with locals and internationals, the bartenders are extremely friendly and enjoy getting you drunk for free, and at around 22:00 the bar turns into one big party with loud eclectic music that makes it hard to leave.
North Abraxas is quite expensive but if you are looking for a unique dinning experience with a young authentic atmosphere, and you don’t mind the wait you will LOVE this place!
