Papua is a cute little neighborhood coffee shop on Geula Street, not far from the beach, that has existed since 2018. As one of my friends lives close by, we sometimes meet here for a Friday afternoon coffee. You sit outside on little round barrels and everything around is made out of wood with a lot of green plants. The whole place has a very chilled vibe.

Their coffee is excellent, their granola cookies with cranberries look healthy, but are super tasty. For something cold their homemade ice tea is great! It comes in a cute little glass bottle and in different tastes like tropical, Louisiana, wild berries or green tea – my favourite is the wild berries. Or do as many Israelis do on a Friday afternoon to welcome the weekend and have a beer or some arak. You will be in good company here, as most people that come to Papua Cafe TLV are locals.
