On the corner of Shlomo Hamelech, a quiet, desirable street of Tel Aviv, you will find the best cafe for all hours of the day.
Shine 38 is always packed with young beautiful people (other than Friday evenings, then they are closed) and the atmosphere is very casual. The place is decorated in a very minimalist way that doesn’t overshadow the wonderful food they have to offer.
While Tel Aviv is famous for its diverse cafes, Shine 38 simply has the best food. They have a great selection for any kind of palate and their “field salad” is one of my favorites.
They are famous for their brick oven Pizza and Nutella Calzone, and rightfully so, as both are addictive!
If you crave pizza and can’t find a seatit at Shine 38, try “Happiza” on Bugrashov, or “Brooklyn Pizza” on Dizengoff, as they all belong to the same owners.
I like to go to the cafe for a happy hour and drink the white sangria – it might take a while to prepare but it’s totally worth it!
I love Shine 38 since it’s not pretentious at all, unlike many other places you might find in Tel Aviv. All their food is straight forward, fresh and delicious and the vibe is young and welcoming.
