I love coming over to Tel Aviv Port. Every time there is something on here – festivals, open yoga classes, open-air movie screenings, food festivals and so on. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafes are always a great excuse to leave everything behind and enjoy some quality time with your friends and yourself.
If you come here on Thursday after 12:00 or Friday after 07:00, you definitely should go to the Farmers Market and get a spontaneous picnic. I love to buy some homemade food like stuffed vine leaves, stuffed orange tiny peppers from the Farmers Market and Israeli boutique draft beer “Malca” from the permanent food market nearby. Then go to the artificial hill on the deck and grab a seat with a view of the sea. Trust me, when you are spotting beautiful sea magic and whitecaps and hearing the waves, the meal is twice tastier this way! 🙂
If you love capturing moments on Instagram like I do – The Port of Tel Aviv is a heaven for the Instagram-addicts. Sde-Dov domestic airport is situated a couple of km north from the port, so you can take dozens of pictures of landing planes. This is one of the most photogenic areas in the city.
