Some of my favorite spots in Tel Aviv are the many cafe-kiosks you can see around the boulevards. They’re usually located right in the heart of them, with 4 open sides where you can see delicious sandwiches, pastries, salads etc. Alongside all that, there’s good coffee of all kinds, including ice coffee for the warmer days. Around them there are small tables and also street benches, and you can sit on one of those with the morning newspaper and watch all the people rushing on their way to work.
There is one in Ben Gurion boulevard, one in Ben Tziyon and two in Rothschild. I chose this one because of its great location, right in the heart of Rothschild, and because it has really good food. You can find fresh sandwiches with meat, cheese, vegetables or all of the above. The place is crowded almost all the time but there’s always somewhere to sit along the boulevard. There’s also beer if you wanna go for a sunset drink. A really great stop-by to get your day started or for a little break from all the site-seeing!
