Generally I am not one that goes into The Hague’s city centre for restaurants. Mainly because The Hague also offers so many great hidden treasures outside of the city centre. However, this feeling shifted after the first time I visited Milú. The restaurant is conveniently located, a stone's throw from the Grote Kerk.
The first thing that struck me was the industrial interior. Though the idea of an industrial theme may not seem cozy, the restaurant oozes just that. The lovely ambiance makes you want to sit down, order a drink, have a bite to eat and not leave your table for at least a couple of hours. Besides a great interior, the menu is incredibly varied and is a melting pot of cuisines from all around the world.
Milú offers smaller sized bites to share, from American cuisine to Japanese and from Italian to Chinese. Having smaller portions allows you to try so many tasty dishes in one setting. I’ll be honest, I don’t always like to share food. But for an evening at Milú I will gladly make an exception.
They also have some specials that are too good not to share. For example, the Dinner Special on Mondays and Tuesdays and €5 cocktails on Wednesday evenings. And last but not least, their once-a-monthly Burgers & Pubquiz evenings on Mondays are a must-do! For only €12.50 you and your teammates can enjoy a burger before going head to head with the other teams in the pubquiz!
