About me
I’m back! I used to Spot for Rotterdam until I moved to Sydney, Australia with my, now, husband. After more than 5 years thoroughly enjoying life there, we decided to move back to the Netherlands. This time to The Hague; my home town, and with our two kids; Valentijn and Vivienne.

So the things I do now are a bit different to when I lived in Rotterdam. Now I go to playgrounds, parks, forests, to make sure the kids don’t go stir-crazy. But in the small amount time I have by myself or with my husband, I love to go out for lunch or dinner.

I love baking cakes and I do that mostly for the kids’ birthdays. I run because I also really like chocolate and I do feel good afterwards ;-).
I dance.—often at home (preferably to bad ’80s music) and when I’m not knackered and can find the time, I enjoy going salsa dancing.

I work as a campaign manager for PostNL Data Solutions which I really enjoy as well. And I’m always planning the next trip.

Why The Hague
Well, for one, I was born here in The Hague. It’s a majestic city with such a big history, and you can see it all over the place. The city has so many nice restaurants, shops and the buzz of Parliament; there are lovely parks, and then of course there’s Scheveningen, the beach area with it’s beach pavilions and the large boulevard and pier.

It’s calm in the fact that it’s not up-and-coming like Rotterdam and not over-touristy like Amsterdam, but there is still so much to do and going on.
