As a student, I stayed in Russia for six weeks. Among many things, I had my hair cut by a Russian home hairstylist. It turned out great! Ever since those days, I love the idea of going to a hairdresser when I am out of the country. Only in reality I always go to Hairpoint hairdressing academy in The Hague city district Segbroek. I became quite attached to the ambiance, motivated students and very reasonable barber prices at this school.
Well cared for
The students at Hairpoint work by appointment. If you call to arrange a day and a time, the receptionist at the other side asks for your name, address and telephone number. And of course asks what you like to be done with your hair. When you arrive as agreed, a student or teacher welcomes you and then most likely asks you to take a seat at the sink. After a junior student has washed your hair, a more senior student takes you through your final hairstyling action plan. One of the Hairpoint teachers approves this plan before the senior student starts cutting. During the process and just before the student finishes your new hairstyle, the teacher checks it thoroughly. Your hair is guaranteed well cared for.
In case you are planning to stay in The Hague for a longer time: Hairpoint also offers hairstyling workshops during evening hours for both people with and without previous experience. Next to that Hairpoint also owns a hairstylist (web)shop.
