I have lived in Duinoord for some years now and the Reinkenstraat really is the neighbourhood’s beating heart. Take a stroll through the street and I’m sure you will agree that it feels like walking in a small village’s main street rather than a big city. This is just one of the many things that I love about it, to be honest. There’s a great mixture of shops and cafes that have been there for decades, but also there are some wonderful new establishments popping up. A more recent addition to the Reinkenstraat is Haver.

Drop by this place if you are in need of a tasty lunch, a cup of coffee with a piece of homemade pastry or on Friday evenings for a delicious 3-course meal. This is the kind of place where you want to start your day with a healthy juice, but where you can also end your day with a glass of wine.

And I’m most likely not the first one to say this, but their interior is to die for! They’ve gone for quite an industrial look and combined it with some lovely green accents, which makes it so cozy, you’ll never want to leave.
