Having lived in the USA for a couple of years, I can understand how difficult it can be to miss the little things from your home country. I must admit, food somehow always had the starring role when it came to these said little things. Of course I was always excited when family and friends would visit us, but I remember quite clearly that I was just as thrilled to see which typical Dutch treats they had brought along. However, since being on this side of the pond again, I started to miss the typically American groceries. It is needless to say that I was extremely happy to discover Kelly’s Expat Shopping in The Hague!

The shop, or as I like to call it, a UK and US grocery Valhalla, is located on the Zoutmanstraat, in the bubbly heart of the Zeeheldenkwartier. They have a great selection of both food and drinks, both sweet and savory, mainly British and American groceries. Not only is it the perfect place for those who long for their home country’s goodies, but also for just anyone that is fond of typically American and British groceries. Whenever I’m in the mood to treat myself to some sweets or to stock up on my favourite foods, Kelly’s is my go-to spot.
