At the back of Paagman, between the cookbooks, the music section and Villa Paagman, there is Kicking Horse Café, an awesome cafe with a great lunch menu. They have lovely sandwiches, hearty soups and a yummy cake selection.
They serve clipper tea and their own brand of coffee (Kicking Horse, who would’ve guessed). And if you really like it, you can buy some to take home with you.
The interior is based on the Canadian Rocky mountains, a piece of paradise according to them. There are smaller round tables and nice lounge chairs near the reading corner.
Located next to the stage area of Paagman, you can easily sit and enjoy one of the many nice lectures Paagman organises. You can even have a meal beforehand.
A kids cooking workshop is organised every first Wednesday of the month. For €15, the kids get to make a real dinner and learn about food while wearing a special chefs outfit.
