When you travel with kids, you want to know where the playgrounds are, because they need to run and play. But what if the weather isn’t everything you hoped for?! Well, this is the place to go to.

It’s a museum dedicated to Dutch children’s books, but don’t let that stop you, because it’s basically an indoor playground. Yes, it’s mostly about Dutch children’s books (mostly because the Very Hungry Caterpillar isn’t Dutch and I believe every child knows that book), but that doesn’t matter, because they appealsto any kid.

Upstairs is for the smaller ones and downstairs for the older kids. There are lots of interactive things to do. Kids can entertain themselves for hours.

The entrance is behind buildings and a bit tucked away. Try looking for the Royal Library (Koninklijke Bibliotheek, KB) as it’s in the same building.
