Meyndel is a big dunes park that runs from Scheveningen all the way to Wassenaar. It’s a great place to go for a walk, bike or horse ride (if you like) through forest, dunes and on the beach of course.

Start or end the walk with a yummy pancake at the pancake restaurant. And if you would like to know more about the area and how it’s been kept, then there is a very interesting information centre, De Tapuit.

For kids (or anyone who likes to run, climb and build) there is the so called Monkey forest. The only monkeys there are the kids swinging on ropes, climbing trees and running from side to side collecting branches to build huts.

There are plenty of parking spaces but make sure to be on time in summer — it can get quite busy.
