Mr. Bap is an experience. It is so Korean, that you almost forget that you are still in the center of The Hague. It is a small restaurant with only a handful of tables inside and some more on the terrace outside.
It is run by a Korean couple, who are lovely and prepare the food themselves. The menu is handwritten and includes photos of the menu items for those who are not that familiar with Korean food. They serve basic typical Korean dishes, but the simplicity is amazing. It allows the quality of the food to shine. I love their kimbap and bibimbap, as it is freshly made. Additionally, they offer typical Korean drinks and sodas, which include barley tea, demi-soda, and bongbong.
However, there is one thing that you need to remember when you are planning to visit Mr. Bap and that is that you need to pay cash or you will receive a payment request, so you cannot pay with any type of debit or credit card.
