Paagman is my happy place. Although I’m not even the biggest bookworm, I do love a good bookstore. And Paagman is a good bookstore. It has great service, friendly staff and a good selection of English books, also in the kids section.

Where it used to be just the part on the corner, they’ve now extended it with a cafe at the back (Kicking horse café, check my article!), the kids section which really is a store on its own, Villa Paagman (guess where I go mostly ;-)). And next to Villa Paagman is a stationery section.

It’s decked out nicely, especially Villa Paagman where there are several reading nooks and room for the kids to explore.

They organise all kinds of events like book signings and lectures, so keep an eye on their website.

There’s also a Paagman in the city. Also nice, but nothing beats the one on The Fred.
