Listen, you simply can’t miss this place when you visit the international city of peace and justice. The Hague has the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court to name a few, and in the centre of all the international institutions related to peace and justice, there is the Peace Palace.
More than 100 years old, it was built in 1913 with funds from Andrew Carnegie. It is home to a number of international judicial institutions, including the International Court of Justice and the Permanent Court of Arbitration. It is a beautiful building in which people are working on a daily basis towards world peace.
Have a stroll around the garden, or book a tour with the ground keeper. Visit the library or book a tour though the building and hear the rich history.
