Teds – All-day brunch

One of the advantages of living close to my parents now (as opposed to living on the other side of the world) is that the kids see them more often and can go there for sleepovers. This weekend was one of those moments where my husband and I had time to ourselves. So after a good sleep-in we went out for brunch and we stepped into Teds. It looked good and it said all-day brunch… well, that was just what we needed. My goodness, what a good choice we made.

We got a nice table at the back and the first thing we got was a glass of water. Now see, you don’t see that too often in the Netherlands. It’s something I miss from Australia, getting a glass of water (or several if you need) free of charge if it’s just tap water. Obviously, Teds had already won me over.

The menu is full of yummy stuff: eggs cooked in all different ways, several kinds of French toast, several (club) sandwiches and salads.

And I díd come back for to try their banana pancakes with marshmallows, hazelnut crunch and chocolate. I mean really, if you come up with something like that, you understand life. And it’s as good as it sounds, what are you waiting for; go!
