I don’t necessarily categorise myself as a coffee addict, but boy, I do love that liquid gold. So you might understand that when I heard about new Italian coffee bar Zamcaffè down the street, I obviously had to give it a try. Because if there is anyone who knows how to do coffee, it’s the Italians.
The owners of Zamcaffè have chosen to go for quite a slick, modern look for their coffee bar. On a sunny day, they’ll have the front doors wide open creating a link between the in- and outside. Have a chat with the employees and you can just feel their passion for everything Italian.
They serve the tastiest coffee I have had in a while and they sell typically Italian and Sicilian homemade treats such as canolli, biscotti and brioche. While you sit in the door opening looking out onto the Reinkenstraat, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, a tasty “dolce” treat and imagine yourself on a lovely sunny terrace somewhere in Italy.
