In The Hague, we have quite an impressive big church called ‘De Grote Kerk’. Very original name, we know. The inside of this church is actually often used for events, such as beer- or whisky tasting events. However, the outside is also put to great use, for example with cute (vintage) markets. Restaurant Zebedeus decided to utilize these two, the inside and the outside area of the ‘Grote Kerk’, to the best of their abilities.

And quite honestly, they could not have chosen a more perfect spot for the restaurant. Their outside terrace has just the right amount of sun on a nice day. Just equally as important as the location and terrace, is the menu. The ingredients for Zebedeus’ dishes are mainly locally bought and organic, which makes it just that little bit more enjoyable. I especially like their sandwich options on the lunch menu!

Spend your Saturday afternoon at their terrace, enjoy a freshly made lunch and maybe even add in a cheeky gin tonic.
