Apsenti – Tsipouro with meze

One of my favorite Greek things is gathering with friends. This is something in our mentality, and you know, we even say that “Who needs a shrink, when we have close friends?”. After a long day, with a lot of coffees, we need a small bite and a nice tsipouro in order to catch up with our best friends.

One of my favorite places for this job is Apsenti, which is the Greek name of the drink absinthe, although I’ve never asked if they offer this famous drink.

Anyway, this place has over 50 different meze (= Greek tapas if you prefer), with both fish and meat dishes, nice cheese bites, of course vegetable dishes and many other Greek specialties. The best part is the price! All the dishes go for a fixed 3.20€ per dish.

This is a small place, with 3-4 tables inside this place, and another 4-5 tables outside, and you can have the best time with your pals!
