There are many cafés in the neighborhood of the ancient Roman Forum, on the Olympou Street, but a high-ceilinged building from 1924 is especially worth our attention. Loux is a modern yet retro café, with black and white tiled floors. It uses old café tables, photographs and postcards of old Thessaloniki on the walls.
There are many students frequenting this place because of the comfortable environment, the relaxing music and the cheap prices. What I like about this place is that, although it could be a place that hosts the previous generation,it is always filled with young people.
They offer traditional Greek coffee and herbal teas in the morning or meze (starters), cold dishes and salted varieties for ouzo or tsipouro, raki (or raki with honey) and wine in the afternoon.
