I guess I belong among the very few people on this planet who don't like coffee, so I've always relied on tea to keep me and my taste buds awake. Therefore the Tea Route is like heaven to me, the heaven where I stock up on a monthly supply, since you don't get to drink tea here, but you buy it to make some at home.
Before entering the shop you'll notice the enormous wall filled with red boxes, it's like a tea library. After entering you'll notice the magical smell of more than 200 different teas. Go ahead and ask to smell some, this is how you basically try and pick which one you like. You can list your preferences (green, white, sweet, spicy, for better sleep, for stomach ache etc.) and the lovely people there will help you find the one that suits your taste and needs better.
Lately I've been hooked on "Green Spring" and "Fiore di Lavender", which is one out of the Mediterranean collection that the owners created, mixing teas Mediterranean spice.
Also check out the super cool tea-ware, from fancy teapots to traditional tea accessories.
Keep calm and drink tea.

Even a tiny church in Thessaloniki can be a pearl! One of the smallest (if not the smallest of all) is the “Sotirakis” chapel. “Sotirakis” means little Sotiris.
