Who wouldn’t be up for a delicious breakfast in the most charming and homely place possible? Spoon is definitely the place to hang out on lazy Sunday mornings while waiting for the city to wake up with a hot cup of cappuccino and a freshly made sandwich. The large windows keep the interior space naturally bright, even on gloomy days, and also allow for gazing out at Pavlou Mela street, which gets busier as noon approaches.
Spoon’s decoration is driven by a mixture of industrial and vintage design. It feels calm and relaxing, either for catching up with friends or to enjoy time alone time reading. Wifi works like a charm and there are sockets everywhere, so you can also work on a laptop without frustrations. However, if you are more like a stroller, grab a little something to-go. Besides, if you pass by outside, the smell of baked dough and chocolate gets into your nose.
The menu offers great choices for coffee, refreshments and light meals. For a quick sweet bite, try the mini waffles or frozen yoghurt. The meals include salads, sandwiches and wraps with Mediterranean ingredients. Actually, all ingredients and products come from selected farms and brands. Meals are also offered as a combo along with a drink and a homemade dessert. I can’t help it but suggest my personal favourite combo: energy smoothie with fruits & oat, sandwich with turkey, vegetables & cheese, and an apple pie for dessert.
