Jalepeno opened in April 2025 with a bang!
Arguably the best Mexican style restaurant in Tirana, Everything about the place is fun and exciting. Their food is SO full of flavour, and the host is a joy!
Chris, who seemed to be doing the job of about 15 people, is from Puerto Rico, and honestly just made sure our time at his restaurant was perfect. His Margheritas were the best I've had in Tirana, and the addition of Tajin was a welcome one. *Albania and spice don't often go together, so I'm glad this Mexican joint has held on to its principles and kept the food and drinks spicyyy! As we first visited during the first few weeks of opening, Chris even gave us a complimentary tequila and joined us for a drink, which was really special!
Position-wise, Jalapeno is right by the very cool Komuna e Parisit neighbourhood, literally just on the corner of the Dinamo stadium, so it is incredibly easy to access from most areas of town.
I would truly recommend a visit to Jalapeno for anyone who fancies spicing up their life with some real authentic South American food!
