Luga e Argjendtë is a new concept store opened up recently by a well-known food blogger and food connoisseur here in Tirana. In Albanian “Luga e argjendtë” means “Silver Spoon” and this is exactly how I would describe it: delicate and homey.
Located in the Blloku area, Luga is actually a small oasis of good and healthy food. What I really appreciate at Luga is the fact that I can always find a new daily menu made only with local fresh produce. At Luga the food is actually traditional, and almost a little bit reminiscent of the times when we were kids. However, here and there you can find something new, like a new technique used, or a new recipe for a vegetable that we only used in once certain way (like the Ocra) or you can find homemade fresh pasta made with leafy greens, or vegetables that always sound new and yummy.
Most importantly, at Luga you can really feel at home. Small, cozy and very neat, it’s the perfect choice for a quick and healthy lunch or if you’re up for something traditional but not heavy.
Now at Luga you can also purchase selected local products made in Albania.
