Located along the busy streets of Augusta Avenue, Bungalow is the spot for the ultimate hipster. From vintage clothes, mid-century furniture and accessories to match, it’s no wonder locals and tourists stop by to shop around or even just for a quick glance.
I come to Bungalow for their vast collection of vintage clothes and purses. The silhouettes and patterns from the dresses made in the ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s or even the ’90s are fun, colourful and show us a glimpse of the trends in fashion during those decades. And you know what? Some of those trends are coming back! Hello, chokers and crop tops! Additionally, they have a selection of more contemporary pieces that still goes with the vintage vibe of the entire shop. Some of the pieces are on the pricey side, while others are more affordable. It really depends on the pieces that catch your eye.
Thinking about my most recent visit to Bungalow, there was a beautifully crafted sideboard unit with clean lines made out of solid wood. I’m not sure where I would put it in my house, but it’s definitely a piece worthy of a second look! So, in case you’re looking for awesome mid-century furniture, accessories or vintage clothes, don’t forget to stop by Bungalow. Oh, and by the way, they hold an annual store wide sale so you can get even better deals for awesome vintage finds!
