If you have a dog in Toronto, then you are probably like me and always looking for places where you can take your four-legged best friend. Unfortunately, Ontario has some strict laws – eateries can be fined or lose their food safety license if they allow dogs into their dining areas, which leaves us pawrents in a tough spot when we want to go out for food or a drink and have our pup with us.
Luckily, Dogs & Coffee opened just off of Queen Street West in Toronto in 2018. Living on Queen West, I often take Hunter for a stroll down Queen on our way to and from Trinity Bellwoods Park. We love stopping at Dogs & Coffee where I can grab an Americano or Cortado and Hunter can have his own treat. Dogs & Coffee offers indoor seating along with outdoor seating in warmer weather. Note that while Dogs & Coffee offers a full coffee bar menu, it does not offer food for humans (all treats are for the pups) but they do have some packaged energy bars for purchase.
If you have a dog (or even if you don’t and just want to grab a good coffee or see other people’s dogs), I highly recommend checking out Dogs & Coffee – both you and your pup will be happy to take a break, together.
