Found inside the Village by the Grange next to the AGO and OCAD, Karine’s serves hearty and delicious breakfast/brunch specials. My favourite? Their smoked salmon breakfast with poached eggs, fresh fruits, toast, and freshly squeezed orange juice. I can eat breakfast food for breakfast, lunch and dinner; this dish is at the top of my list!
Every time I’ve gone to eat at Karine’s it’s always been a busy time. Between the students, office staff and locals walking around Village by the Grange, there’s always a line to order. But it’s always been worth the wait! Aside from the smoked salmon breakfast that I mentioned earlier, they serve vegan pancakes, stuffed waffles, veggie wraps, and a selection of gluten-free dishes, all of which are made fresh and plated with fresh fruits.
That’s the other thing that I love about Karine’s. From the plate, the colourful fruits on the plate to the main entrée, when you eat at Karine’s you’re eating with your eyes as well as your stomach! And the dishes are reasonably priced for the portions they serve.
Fresh breakfast and brunch food with great service, stop by Karine’s before heading to the AGO. You’re sure to have a great start to your day!
