As a “theatre worker” I am very demanding about theatre and interested in it. For those who love theatre and also for those that want to discover this field I absolutely suggest you go to the Teatro della caduta and Caffè della caduta.
This spot is divided into two places situated in two different streets (of course they’re close to each other). Teatro dela caduta (via Michele Buniva 24) is the smallest theatre in the city, it can have a maximum of 45 people and a reservation is obligatory. You can see many different local artists every day, and they also perform shows in English.
The Caffè della caduta (Via Bava 39) has a similar ambience but it has a zone dedicated to the bar and for a little orchestra, you can go there in the afternoon and have a coffee while listening to music.
Like many spots in Turin you have to have a membership card, don’t worry about it, the first time you go to a show is free, the second time will be € 25 per year. What I suggest is you go to see the “Varietà della Caduta” every Thursday at 21:00.
Have a look at the program, it changes every week.
