Ingrossominuto is the place to go in town if you fancy a treat for your walks around Turin.
There is no place like this modern cafè if you like a slice of cake: they literally offer you dozens of them, all fresh and handmade in their kitchen. Chocolate fudge cakes, French Tarte Tatin, amazing pear (or peach in the summer) plus chocolate: you will enjoy them in a great place, with friendly people serving you. Also grab a coffee or a cappuccino with your cake: if you love cappuccino, this is the place to be.
Ingrossominuto is my perfect pick for Saturdays: you can enjoy a nice breakfast before shopping at the nearby Porta Palazzo market (check the Porto Palazzo article), or have a lunch break with tasty and delicious food (on weekdays the cafè is literally packed with people on their lunch break). In the afternoon, teatime is the best moment for cakes: you may browse through their tea menu and find your favourite one.
Enjoy your sweet break or taste one of the amazing wines on their list at aperitivo time (pre-dinner) while watching people in the beautiful galleria where the cafe is located: this spot is one of the most ancient of the city (the building dates back to the XV century, the galleria was built in 1890).
