Welcome to the birthplace of coffee! In Turin there is a corner in the middle of San Salvario called Orso. When you go in you can smell the perfume of coffee and breathe the air of an old fashioned bistro.

Giulio, the owner, will guide you on a journey to the origins of the coffee and all coffee tastes from all around the world. There are many kinds of coffee for all kinds of drinkers: Espresso, americano, filter, special…and so on!

I really like to go to Orso because it is a very cosy and homey place. When you finish drinking your coffee, check the bottom of the cup. You’ll find a special number with a special meaning (just check the board next to the exit).

Bonus! If you are a regular customer you can have your own personal cup. Just pick one and they’ll keep it for you when you come back to enjoy your daily coffee.
