I love sunsets, as I’m sure many of you do too. Sunsets in autumn are quite magical, wherever you are, because of the particular light they show you. If you want to find the perfect spot for a sunset in Turin, my tip is to go down to the main river, the river Po.
It is very easy to get a wonderful spot by standing on one of the few bridges you will find in the city centre (pick the Vittorio Emanuele I bridge at the end of piazza Vittorio or the Umberto I bridge at the end of Corso Vittorio Emanuele II for the best ones). Get your spot, forget the traffic around you, set your camera, and the river will simply give you back all the calm and quiet the city seems to take away from you.
Watch the horizon turn red and the sky melt together with the water, see the city lights turn on, the mountains appear at the back, and enjoy the magic happening in front of you.
