Front and Company is known for their gorgeous window displays, featuring whimsical creations made out of felt, paper and sometimes clothing and accessories that are carried in store. If you can’t visit the store, at least drive by to see their latest display.
When most people mention Front and Company, they are talking about the clothing consignment boutique, but the store is actually two buildings; a larger clothing consignment space on the corner of Main and 22nd, and a home wares and gift store beside it with FRONT painted on the windows.
The clothing and consignment store is fabulous; it sells both pre-loved and new clothing and accessories, all which are current and on trend. It also stocks the most fantastic socks, warm designs that can feature anything from Einstein and The Starry Night to Wookies and Navajo-esque designs. It usually carries a quirky selection of books and jewelry, but much more is found in its sister store.
The home wares and gift store is a treasure trove of unusual, fun and beautiful things – I love walking through to alternately admire and wonder at the collection of cards, books, ceramics and gadgets. If you’re having trouble getting a gift for someone, come here and you will almost definitely find something that they will love. Or, you will find something hilarious, either way it’s a win for you!
Local tip: Don’t shop online, Front and Company’s website shows only 1/3 of what’s in stock at the store. Come visit instead!
