Heather’s Place Doggy Daycare – Pup meets love

These days, traveling with your fur babies is not uncommon. If you’re a dog parent like me, then you’ll want to keep Heather’s Place Doggy Daycare & Grooming in mind. Named after the owner, this establishment opened its doors in 2006¬†and has since maintained a safe and playful environment for dogs of all sizes and ages.

Although pet-friendly businesses have come a long way, there are just certain activities that you and your pooch cannot do together. So, if you want to spend the day wandering through Vancouver Art Gallery, shopping on South Granville, or getting pampered at a local spa, then count on Heather and her staff to attend to your dog in the meantime.

Whether you need just a few hours or an entire day of dog sitting, Heather will be more than happy to help you. My dogs attend on a weekly basis, and love it so much they always have to be dragged out on their way home!

As in most daycares, all dogs must be neutered/spayed and be up to date with vaccinations in order to be eligible. You may want to call ahead or stop by and speak to Heather in person beforehand. They usually like to get to know you, and spend a few hours with the dogs before taking them in.
