Seigel’s bagels are good at any time of day, but especially exceptional after a long night out. Which is perfect, because the Cornwall location is open 24/7! Bagel lovers unite!
Seigel’s Bagels serves delicious single bagels, bagels by the dozen, bagel breakfasts and bagel sandwiches. The bagels themselves are Montreal style bagels, denser and smaller than store bought ones, but so much better tasting! And they are all baked fresh on site!
Seigel’s has a large variety of bagel types, from pumpernickel to poppy seed, and they also sell other different types of pastries. For sandwiches I recommend going west coast and getting a Lox & Cream Cheese sandwich or a Candied Salmon sandwich. Otherwise, just having a bagel with butter or a bagel with cream cheese is great. My favourite are the sesame seed ones.
Local Tip: My favourite thing to do during the Vancouver Celebration of Lights (July & August) is to go down to Kitsilano and grab some Seigel’s bagels, and then go down to the beach to watch the fireworks. You can try getting the bagels after the fireworks, but there’s usually a long line.
