Convenient and pleasant!
The August Market is full of great and fun fellows. It gives me the impression of living in a small town every time I go there. The team cares about their customers, mostly because a great part of them are friends, but also because they like to create a “community” around the place. Not only a place to get fruits or veggies, they like to host workshops or talks, Kombucha-making classes and Hangouts! Mmm!
It is the place I prefer to get my essential groceries, I am always sure to get a smile when I get in for fresh produce, curated groceries, beverages on tap, bulk goods or local dairy. The place is small and friendly and it feels good to encourage an independent grocery store instead of a big chain. As a bonus, and best point, everything is fairly priced. No need to go to Whole Foods and pay the big price for local or organic produce.
