Once planned and run by some dedicated architects and their friends (who liked good food, booze and design) this place changed ownership, but has not lost its charm.
When entering through the maybe most beautiful door of Vienna, you find yourself in a room with a huge glass window front (as it used to be a shop ages ago), high ceiling, furnishing from the ’50s to ’70s and a direct view into an open kitchen. The food is simple but good, there are a few great crêpe variations and the atmosphere is cozy, kind of stylish and relaxed.
For those who like to drink their good wine without inhaling smoke, this might be the right bar: it’s non-smoking now. Perfect choice after or before a nice movie at close-by Filmcasino (check the Filmcasino article).
Be aware that sometimes the whole place is booked for private parties, so you might end up in front of this beautiful closed door….
