I was waiting for this place to open for over a year. Due to Corona, they had to delay their plans, but now it’s there and filling my belly at least twice per month.
They offer bowls, salads and wraps in the traditional “naan” bread. The bread is a bit too chewy for me as a “wrapper”, but I just love the bowls. I could drown in them. There are several precombined options, but I prefer to choose the ingredients myself. I usually go for rice and Indian paneer (a type of delicious cheese), edamame, sautéed onions, veggies and the “korma” sauce. It is to die for.
They have many other options for protein – with and without meat – as well as for the base and toppings. And I literally never had to wait longer than 5 minutes to be served and it has never been overcrowded. Although it is in the 3rd district, where a lot of people live and work, people seem to miss the deliciousness of this place, because there are so many other options in the area. But even when I think of trying something else, my belly steers me in its direction.
So try a bowl and wash it down with a cold mango lassi!
