Continuing our tour under the busiest Vilnius roof. Right by the Monstro and Prohibicija bars there’s a place where people eat meatballs. Those are worshiped and respected there. So if you’re looking for a simple, good old yet delightful meal – pay a visit. This is the very first meatballs-only restaurant in Vilnius and it truly is good.
First of all – the interior. Meat is definitely the king over there and guys really did pay respect to the process of meat ball-making, as the main restaurant interior design item is the meat grinder. They serve as coat hangers, door knobs, shelves, paintings etc. They managed to create a wonderful and cozy, like-at-home atmosphere.
Now about the food. The menu is not long (which is in my opinion a great thing). There are couple of choices like meatball burger, meatballs with potato puree etc.
Tuesday is a day for meatballs special. On Tuesdays there is only one option, so the chefs can try out their food experiments. It’s a meatball dish, obviously.
The draft beer selection is OK, however I prefer bottled. There’s also wine and some stronger liquids if you wish.
This is a place with character, so is their dishes, drinks and visitors. It’s a great place to come to eat, drink, stay a bit, have a chat with friends or bartenders and just chill.
Their playlist is always great btw.
