Cud nad Wisłą – Miraculous spot on the riverbank

Cud nad Wisłą (transl. Miracle on the Vistula riverbank) refers to the Battle of Warsaw and the Polish victory in 1920. Poland defeated the invading Red Army, which was back then deemed impossible. Cud cultivates the tradition and is located at a very vibrant, historical Warsaw spot.

Cud is mostly a place to have a beer (in their summer surroundings or even on Cud’s beach) and gaze into the water – to dwell on the past, or just relax. It is a bit similar to most of the bars on the riverbank, but the beautiful location makes it special in some way.

Cud organises lots of events: from concerts, to stand-up comedies (quite a new format, very popular in Warsaw in the last couple of years) to film screenings, ice-cream festivals and food workshops. Check their “Concert Thursdays” especially. All these can be found on their Facebook account.
