Just a couple of metres from Rancho Bena (Ben’s ranch) there is a great nature reserve next to Czarna river. The river (or rather a canal) is about 1.5-2.5 metres wide; it’s clean, perfect to make a picnic by and wade in the water. (Even bigger) dogs can swim here.

Stop at Rancho Bena (marked in the map), move a bit further down the road until you reach a bridge at the river Czarna. When you go down the river, you will discover empty meadows of Mazowsze with wild animals and all the village sounds you can imagine. You can walk around 3 km to reach the next village.

If you go up the river, you will discover splendid thick and dark forests. Here, the possibilities for walks or bike rides are almost unlimited, as the next road is about 5-7 km from here, depending on which way you choose.
