It really does not matter if you want to self-isolate or just love nature as I do. In this walk, you will experience the lovely lands of Mazowsze and discover the Vistula riverbed.
A short walk takes you from Czernidła (a good starting point would be the boarding house for horses, I am marking the parking lot on the map). Then start walking to your right-hand side on the embankment in front of the institution. When you see a small path towards the river, follow it and go directly towards the riverbed. Walk further up the river (towards the South on the map). Most of the time you will be walking exactly next to the river, on the meadows.
If you walk around 2 km, you will end up in Gassy, where you can take a small ferry to Karczew to the other side of the river. There, you can go down the river a bit and enjoy the splendid white sands of Vistula’s beaches. Remember that you are in a nature reserve all this time – so you might observe birds, otters and more. But please take your rubbish with you, and if you decide to stay for the night, be careful with fire and don’t camp closer than 60 m from the riverbed.
