It’s really amazing that we have such places as Las Lindego in Warsaw. You just go out of the metro station Wawrzyszew and you can immediately forget that you’re in the city.
Las Lindego is a small forest in the north of Warsaw. It’s a hilly area, a little stream flows through the forest, there are some wooden footbridges. It’s like a piece of wild jungle hidden among high residential buildings of Bielany district. It’s a popular place for walking or jogging. There is also a nice wooden outdoor gym there. If you want to visit Las Lindego, don’t forget to take some nuts with you as it’s also home for many squirrels.
If you want to extend your walk, you can go to Las Bielanski which is just on the other side of Marymoncka street. It’s a much bigger forest than Las Lindego and also a perfect place to enjoy a bit of fresh air in the city.
