The first time I tried a bowl for dinner in Raj w niebie (Paradise in Heaven, check my article here), I just had to fall in love with them. With the new „The Bowl Book“, Warsaw has now become the capital city of bowl food in Poland. If you haven’t tried a bowl before, now’s the time to make up for it. You will be pleased with the nutritious ingredients and lovely matching tastes, enriched by the beautiful and friendly atmosphere of Poke Bowl.
Bowls originally come from Hawaii. They derive from Hawaiian and Japanese cultures and were traditionally prepared with raw fish leftovers from the fisherman’s catch. The dish spread to North America in the ’70s and later on to the whole world, being praised for its nutritiousness. Today’s bowls are composed using natural ingredients, such as rice, raw tuna or salmon, edamame, wakame, sesame seeds, pineapple, miso soup, soy sauce, spring onions, nuts and many more.
Poke Bowl is located in the trendy neighborhood of Saska Kępa, known for its splendid restaurants and vibrant nightlife. As a traveller you will definitely be visiting Praga (on the right-hand side of the Vistula), so you might pop in for lunch/dinner anyway.
