Port Czerniakowski (Czerniaków port) is one of the hippest places in Warsaw – here you will find a sports club, three restaurants (Miejsce, restaurant of the club DeSki and Monta – the restaurant of a volleyball club). Some people even live here in hipster containers/ships on the water and since last year you can book a “hotel bed” in one of the places on Booking.com. Also, it’s great to go rowing or watch people rowing in autumn and winter in the fog – from Port Czerniakowski to the Vistula.
A couple of months ago, the City of Warsaw announced its new project – Sauna Wisła – and it is now realized with means of the participatory budget (decided by the citizens) and located in Port Czerniakowski.
Sauna Wisła is open daily from 06:00 to 00:00 – and for free in the following hours: 08:00 – 12:00, 14:00 – 15:00 & 17:00 – 18:00. The maximum number of visitors is eight. Remember to book your visit: rezerwacje@miamiwars.pl or online – the sauna is also open for events so if you’re in for a relaxing birthday or a splendid date – make sure you visit. Also, in the starting autumn season this might be a great place to get warm in the grey city!
Please make sure you follow the marker on the map – as there are no direct addresses in the port.
