CityCenter is an amazing space downtown located on I St and spanning from 9th to 11th street in Washington DC. One could describe CityCenter as a commercial park or large open shopping center. Within its 2 blocks, you can find luxury fashion stores, incredible dining options, and whimsical art installations.
Palmer Alley splits CityCenter horizontally. The buildings that line Palmer are typically connected by “ornaments” that are strung up and change with the season. When you walk through CityCenter, you’ll absolutely have to get a photo with the overhanging art.
CityCenter is more than just a shopping center, it is also a cultural hub. CityCenter is known for the different interactive art installations placed there. It’s also known for its different pop-ups and for its outdoor yoga classes when the weather is warm.
CityCenter DC is one of DC’s newest developments and is within walking distance of the White House, Chinatown, and Metro Center.
